If we are to believe the chatter, the artist produced this sculpture as a reflection to the fact that so many contemporary kitchens take up a lot of space in our homes, that they are often overly present and not even in use…. a bit like most cars parked in the street. He wonders whether they can be something else when not in use? Why we want our kitchens to be so prominent?
