Allegedly, with this chair in sandpaper the artist is trying to do a few things he loves doing in general: 1.fashioning everyday household items into sculptures; 2.using materials that might arouse the desire to touch it (but is it allowed?!); 3. extending his quest into what it takes for something to be considered as useful and functional.
