driTT is a furniture line that includes a wide range of tables, shelving units, home desks, benches, and stools, all designed for interior use. Crafted from decorative melamine-faced panels and produced with precision machinery typically reserved for kitchen and cabinet making, the driTT collection playfully reinterprets the logic and rules of this technology. The core of this product lies in the combination of highly automated cutting techniques with the careful assembly of top quality furniture panels, resulting in pieces that are both simple and sophisticated.

Though a straight line may seem simple at first glance, its potential for creating complex designs is limitless. driTT — meaning ‘straight’ in Maltese — injects a sense of rhythm and play into the rational world of industrial production, resulting in functional sculptures where pleasure meets practicality.

With its innovative use of machine-cut panels, the driTT collection offers a diverse range of furniture that is both adaptable and multifunctional. Each piece can stand alone or be combined with others, offering the flexibility to either make a statement or blend seamlessly into any space. Available in a variety of colours, materials, and textures, these pieces cater to different moods and personal tastes.

Designed to be flexible and open to personal interpretation, the driTT collection encourages users to make each piece their own, adding a personal narrative to their environment. By combining mass-production efficiency with carefully selected materials, colour combinations, and edging, this collection presents itself as democratic and luxurious at the same time.

Curated Materials: Wood Effect Laminate
I chose wood effect laminate for its remarkable versatility and inviting tactile appeal. Offered in a spectrum of shades from light to dark timbers, this laminate provides a variety of textures, from smooth finishes to pronounced grain patterns. Its adaptability makes it an ideal option for both traditional and contemporary interiors, including Scandinavian and minimalist Japanese designs. The diverse textures and colours allow for endless design possibilities, bringing the natural warmth and beauty of wood to any space while ensuring long-lasting durability.
